We get a massive amount of tips in our inbox each week. Some are pretty interesting, but don’t get published for one reason or another.
It’s usually because they’re just so absurd or really lack even the most tenuous of news angles to give them the go-ahead. Other times it’s because they’re just absolute horseshit. But every Saturday until we get sick of running them, we’ll present to you some of these not-so-shiny gems. All items should be treated as Sic’d. Enjoy…

We Will Not Apologize To The Rabbits
What on Earth makes this a funny story?
Those rabbits (some 1700 of them) are and were the very best Sweden and surrounding countries’ breeders had. You are obviously clueless regarding the love and dedication it takes to make such animals happen—you’re too busy sniggering at the concept of rabbits with value to anyone.
Do you REALIZE what kind of heartbreak these people are undergoing while they wait in subzero temperatures to see if their animals survived? Do you care? (Okay, trick question.)
Well beyond the monetary damages done (many of those rabbits were worth hundreds of Euros if not thousands), the exquisitely-designed breeding programs of many owners will be derailed for years.
At this point, more than half of the rabbits have been recovered through careful rescue attempts and propping up of the roof fragments, with about 5% loss to death and injury outright…but that doesn’t count the injured and ones suffering from the lethal stress of the incident which will kill them in the next month’s time.
“Snide” doesn’t even BEGIN to cover Mr. Petchesky’s posting regarding this tragedy. I’m frankly left wordless. But I’d love to see him apologize in public for his truly appalling sense of humor.

It is a total shame when someone speaks out, and is soooo truthful, that it causes princess hannah’s feelings to get hurt. Could it be her hubbie got involved and only likes himself to be able to comment about short skirts. I had a wife that when she got to be that same age started to wear shorter skirts, tried to hang with younger guys and gals, and had a terrible time facing the facts of how she was aging. Some women should age gracefully and stop trying to seem youngerâ¦. It does look so childish.
I like short skirts on shapely legged women; I like high heels on shapely legged women. But some women cannot make themselves look shapely by wearing heels and short skirts.

What on Earth makes this a funny story?
Those rabbits (some 1700 of them) are and were the very best Sweden and surrounding countries’ breeders had. You are obviously clueless regarding the love and dedication it takes to make such animals happen—you’re too busy sniggering at the concept of rabbits with value to anyone.
Do you REALIZE what kind of heartbreak these people are undergoing while they wait in subzero temperatures to see if their animals survived? Do you care? (Okay, trick question.)
Well beyond the monetary damages done (many of those rabbits were worth hundreds of Euros if not thousands), the exquisitely-designed breeding programs of many owners will be derailed for years.
At this point, more than half of the rabbits have been recovered through careful rescue attempts and propping up of the roof fragments, with about 5% loss to death and injury outright…but that doesn’t count the injured and ones suffering from the lethal stress of the incident which will kill them in the next month’s time.
“Snide” doesn’t even BEGIN to cover Mr. Petchesky’s posting regarding this tragedy. I’m frankly left wordless. But I’d love to see him apologize in public for his truly appalling sense of humor.

I had a wife that when she got to be that same age started to wear shorter skirts, tried to hang with younger guys and gals, and had a terrible time facing the facts of how she was aging. Some women should age gracefully and stop trying to seem youngerâ¦. It does look so childish.
I like short skirts on shapely legged women; I like high heels on shapely legged women. But some women cannot make themselves look shapely by wearing heels and short skirts.
